The blood, the wine,
the body, the bread
the loaf, the cup
offered for him
If for him, for all,
no matter the station,
no matter the sin,
all are welcome at the table
all are worthy of the feast
all eating of the body, of the blood
a sharing in the holy meal
each one gaining communion
a sharing with our Lord
in the act of coming together
one bread, one cup, for all
