As he was commissioned, as he was sent by God
so we are sent by our savior, the Messiah, by Christ
as he was sent to bring hope, to bring redemption
so are we sent, filled with the spirit,
to bring the good news to those in need
to offer hope to those who have lost their way
sharing the message of Christ, the love of God
as he was sent by the father,
we are sent by Christ
out into the world
to the ends of the earth
and to the end of the age
