I pray that this moment
this part of the story
would pour over us like water
that we would see this mystery
It was in the end times
when the gifts we have received
were offered to our neighbors
when the needy came to us
and were offered a hand
At the end of the day
the free will offering
the items for those
who could not afford to pay
In that moment
most fully, perhaps,
being the body of Christ
showing his love to the world
