He is Still God

Though no new chapters
no new books in the holy word
He is still God,
the creator of heaven and earth

All powerful, aware of our every need
able to send the rain
to heal the sick
to bring us to life again

God is still holy
the maker of all that is
walking beside us
in our walk on this earth
his spirit living in us
