With honor, recognition
an official position of power
sent with letters of introduction
from the seat of power
to that foreign land
Turned around in his path
his encounter with the risen Christ
beginning his work without sanction
starting to preach the way of grace
just beginning to serve
Discerning the calling of God
commissioned by his grace
going to the ends of the earth
not by human approval
following the command of God
