Not for our treasury
but for his glory
the tailings of the yard sale
set out as free
At the end of the driveway
the humble neighbors
coming to the offering
left there for them
To see the faces
hope rising
something the others
did not see
While I was mowing
the front lawn
before the church
hearing their thank you’s
offered up to God
