We must be mindful
as stewards of the earth
not just to subdue it
but to treasure its worth
the people, our neighbors
like us on the journey of life
needing to remember
that we are blessed by our creator
that we must give that blessing to them
So must remember
in our walk, to be faithful
not to hold onto our treasure
the things, the clutter
that gets in the way
in love, serving our savior
his hands and feet in the world
not holding onto our treasure
instead, giving it away
