Speaking from the Stillness

A voice speaking
calling to us
from our stillness
from the silence

Feeding us with his Spirit
calling us to rise
as his children
and be about our work

Yet calling us too
into his presence
sabbath in our hearts
all of our days

Being still, calm in our selves
leaning on him for the strength we need
trusting in our shepherd
as long as we live
following where he would lead
