A Way to our living
our goal as children of God
walking uprightly
because he loves us so
His suffering so great
far more than my ills
humbled, emptied
his deity laid on the ground
Rising from the dust
alive as you and me
God walking as a man
made with feet of clay
His whole life a sacrifice
giving up his throne
humbly walking the earth
his path leading to the cross
In the face of this
realizing, at least in part,
our way much easier than this
by grace we are given a new start
Walking as God’s children
trying not to complain
aware of his sacrifice
that we may live again
