Trying to follow
our steps in his own
Mirroring Christ
all of our days
Imitating him
who emptied himself
though he was God
dying as the lamb
Our lives, though in this world
may be turned to Christ
dying with him
in our walk on the earth
Reflecting our Lord
in how we relate to God
in our love for our neighbors
those on our path
Every day, with the Spirit’s power
seeking to be Christ
though with feet of clay
trying to walk in his ways
