Each of us given
a set number of days
entrusted with these
the length of our lives
The sacred trust
time our treasure
guided by the Spirit
on our walk here below
Using our days wisely
in service to others
following Christ
to climb Calvary
Carrying our cross
our seeds to scatter
using our gifts
to proclaim God’s love
In the time we are given
abiding with him
yoked to our savior
walking these dusty roads
Going onward, led
sensing God’s presence
his hand leading us
to our heavenly reward
