Alive with Fire on the Mountain

Christ on the mountain
under God’s holy cloud
love spoken to him
to each one of us
God brought them together
to be revealed for us
the disciples witnesses
to Christ’s holiness
Alive with fire
the burning within
the law and the prophets
together in him
Christ blessed by the word
spoken by God
descending with us
to serve our fellow man
not rising then to heaven
all part of God’s plan
