something about God’s presence
God’s wooing us
choosing to reach out
to seek our salvation

I chose you
Christ said
echoing down to us

The centrality of God’s love
Christ sent from heaven
grace poured out
like his blood upon the cross

I chose you,
Christ said
saving us from God’s judgment
