to love as our Savior loved
complete submission
sacrifice to the Father’s will
completely giving
forgiving the way God forgives
remembering our sin no more
Entering Lent
a forty-day season
walking in my ashes
I want to feel you
to transform my heart
deep within me
carrying with me
a reminder of my sin
While somber, contemplative
spending time in fasting and prayer
joy in my relationship
walking with you, Lord
My life a blessing
with Christ made brand new
healing me completely
let me live in You
