His house a hospital
the room a waiting room
Christ ministering to them
healing their brokenness
offering the grace of God
healing by his touch
even their faith enough
to heal them with his love
The waiting room full
the hospital overflowing
but they had a man on a stretcher
dying in his iniquity
needing to find some way
to bring the man to Jesus
not letting anything get in the way
nothing physical would stop them
Cutting a hole in the hospital
worrying about permission later
needing to get their friend to Christ
the one who alone could heal him
a sickness deep within
his body contorted, useless
needing to come to Jesus
to be healed, made whole
