I am freed from
my past
the shackles of
this life
by the blood
shed on Calvary
the sacrifice of
Christ
Putting on the
weight
the oppressive
weight of my sin
Freeing me ever
redeeming me
from the pit
I rise from the
grave
from eternal
damnation
the wages of
sin, no more,
saved from
certain death
A slave to sin
no more
able to face God,
righteous,
to come before
my Maker
to rise from my
knees
a smile upon my
face
To run to my
Lord, my Father
knowing His arms
are open
a beloved child,
me,
of the Creator
of the universe.
All that was,
is, and shall be
redeeming me,
even me.
