sitting at the feet of God

in the heat of the day
in the coolness of the evening
throughout the short season
summer, near the crown of Maine
sitting at the feet of God
asking Him questions
waiting quietly, expectant
for the Master’s answers
learning to wait, to listen
to be more quiet
creating a structure
for time in prayer
sitting at the feet of God
waiting for His answer
waiting expectantly
because we have been blessed
we have seen His power
the power of witness
how God has already blessed us
with the answers He has given.
