we bow in prayers of
thanksgiving
each of us different, but
gathered together
in your sanctuary, around
each table
within the community and
within each family
we bow in prayers of
thanksgiving
to give you thanks, o God,
Creator of heaven and
earth
mindful of you, your hand
upon our lives
but pausing to thank you
for so much, for
everything
for every blessing you
have heaped upon us
for being with us in times
of struggle
mostly, always, to thank
you for Jesus
our Savior, our Redeemer,
our Brothers, our King.
