Thankful for You Lord – v2

We are thankful this afternoon

sitting in worship, joining

thankful for the peace

that lets us sit here undisturbed

We are thankful in this season

that we are not persecuted

for our ability as Americans

coming together in worship

We are thankful to You Lord

for all of our blessings

for our country, our faith,

for our lives in Jesus

We are thankful to You Lord

for Your forgiveness

for the grace of the cross

and the joy of the Resurrection

We stop in prayer

for these moments

able to come to You

joyfully, in worship
