we have lost our sense of beauty
of wonder in creation
taking the Creator out
of too many things
for too many, we do not see the beauty
seeing each of our days, our living,
in ordinary time, ordinary days
when there is no such thing
is we would have eyes to see them
wonderful moments in each day
moments to drink in
beauty all around us
to gather in our senses
if we will only listen
the smells of creation
if we feel the breeze
a harvest, a bounty
in these means of grace
we need to recapture the beauty
in everyday life
