The Bow in the Sunny Sky – v5

We were blessed, by a singular moment
at least for most of us, looking up
after our time on the beach, at the picnic.
A slice of color, cut into the screen,
the piece of the dome,
a segment of a bow.

Vertical in the summer sky,
stripes of color against the blue
growing for but a few moments.
Iridescent, shimmering in the sunny sky.
Growing, posing, long enough,
for us all, to marvel.
