Not when we are aware
of a challenge to come
steeled by God’s protection
all of our earthly days
Wearing the armor of God
following his good guidance
protected in our walk
as servants of our king
Going as Paul went
out into this troubled world
steeled by God’s protection
bearing his healing word
Love, not anger
though he would have cause
healing not judgment
so is the Lord’s response
Armed for the battle
protected by God
going as Christ was sent
hearing our master’s call
Telling the whole world
of God’s love for all
being his messenger
armed for the battle call
