The Word of God perfect
his promises are truth
his covenants are holy
in Christ we have that proof
From the fall of man
to this very day
we have proven to be unworthy
yet God has been faithful
his promises are true
An anchor in the storm
a light to guide our feet
our hope in the highest heaven
in the coming of our Lord.
