A challenge from the pulpit
not even discernment
more fundamental than that
real trust in God
Christ’s commission to us
not to make more members
rather to make disciples
true followers of God
Our focus changing
from the bricks of our building
to our neighbors around us
not to our place of worship
but the people on the street
Rethinking our mission
if we truly believe
leaving our old ways
focusing beyond our doors.
