The nature of love
of God revealed
in the scripture
a pattern of forgiveness
mercy unending
in grace poured out
over and over again
God offering hope
that we will be forgiven
in his forgiving in the past
when his people have sinned
our choice in this important
when we turn to him
and from the way of our past
A pattern of forgiveness
in grace never ending
not a god of two chances
but in numbers unending
pouring out his mercy
that we would be restored, redeemed
that we may come before him
