Spending time alone
in solitude together
worshipping God in silence
humbly in prayer
Spending time alone
with my lord and savior
grounding my life in him
that I may face the day
Fed with the word
feeling your living waters
the seed within me growing
planted in my heart
Aching for your presence
your Spirit speaking
guiding my steps I pray
at the dawning of each day.
