Into the eyes of my Master

Looking into the eyes of my Master
as I had cursed his name
the one who I had journeyed with
for these last three years

Looking into the eyes of my Master
knowing the pain I had spoken
no better than Judas
for I denied his teaching

I had not loved my neighbor
my brother, the Messiah
I had not stayed faithful
for even one night

Here he was about to die
to fulfill God’s holy plan
and I could not stay with him
I had denied his name
