My savior before me
in the criminal court
Satan stalking the proceedings
no hope in my sight
Yet I perhaps the most evil
for I denied the one I love
cursing the very name
of God own living Son
When he turned and saw me
when his eyes touched mine
how I longed to be struck silent
death in the courts of the Lord
The pain my choices caused
the hurt in his eyes
for I who knew him
had denied my Lord
