Transfiguring

Transfiguring
being changed from within
casting of our old selves
that we may live

The ember burning
the bit of God inside
a fire burning
casting light in the darkness

Transfiguring
being changed from within
the light burning
new life to begin

Coming from the mountain
to walk on the earth
offering Christ to others
that they would share the new birth
