what if cancer
was to be cured
by one dead unborn
conceived in the womb
but sent to the tomb
never seeing the sun
never breathing air
if our days are numbered
our hairs known by God
a plan before we are born
couldn’t this be possible
if we believe in His
promises
His sovereignty, his
judgment
as reasonable as random
chance
a consequence of free will
a burden of choices we make
by the hand of God
