I don’t really care,
it doesn’t help me
the pain remains
from your words
your harsh judgment
falling down on me.
You could dip it in chocolate
add bright sprinkles
Call it what every you like
the expression no comfort.
To me, to my ears,
“Love the sinner, hate the sin.”,
is calling me sin;
Your judgment upon me still.
Your words cutting
into my flesh.
however you package it;
the harm remains -
I am who I am
whatever your name.
