the
bramble overflowing,
undergrowth
abloom
but
a hint of a path,
just
an impression really.
One
long abandoned
left
to grow fallow
forgotten,
up the bank
out
into the wood.
Like
that unknown journey
maybe
a hidden rock wall
the
unused path before me
calling
me to walk.
the
unused path into the wood
calling,
beckoning me onward
to
move from my comfort
out
into the unknown.
The
whisper of the wind
a
shiver at my back,
yet
a call echoing within me
to
turn and not look back.
Venturing
forth, yet uncertain,
not
knowing yet the way
needing
the Spirit to guide me
each
and every day.
