an oasis of light – v5

a pool waiting
a bright future
in a sea of darkness
a pearl in the oyster
water in the desert
an oasis of light

how to see the Kingdom
part of heaven
here on the earth
a future unfolding
if we will follow
if we will follow the Christ

when love fills the vacuum
giving us life, eternal,
new birth in the Kingdom
heaven on earth
freed from our prison
carrying our own cross.
