Submitting to the master’s will
dying for our sin
to death did he go
from the tomb, the grave
the humble servant rose
Rising to his heavenly throne
the lamb was given life
conquering death, leading the way
preparing a place for us
when our work here is done
Because he had been humbled
giving up his deity
God raised him from the depths
placed him on the throne
rising in victory
Like Christ, the saints
following our brother, our king
we too may rise
on wings like eagles
at the end of our days
