The hands of the sinful

Our choices calling us out
the hands of the sinful
on the heads of the innocents
making them the sacrifice
Not by their choosing
the pain they are feeling
the powerful putting on them
the stain of our greed
our refusing to take responsibility
they alone bearing
the weight of our debt
they alone sacrificing
to let us keep our wealth
