The scriptures point to me

In the holy scriptures
as the Master said
God commissioned him
assigned him to the dead

To raise up the people
to bring us back to God
to share the holy message
our Savior, our Lord

So clearly He spoke
yet we refuse to believe
as He said to them,
the scriptures point to me
