Purposeful,
leaving the world
intentionally spending
time in the word

Time set apart
by ourselves with God
to offer our petitions
things weighing on our hearts

Time for connection
for communing with God
to hear his message
his call in our hearts

Not in the bustle
the chaos of the world
but in the silence
in his holy word

Intentional in our walk
our path in this life
bringing light in the darkness
that the whole world may be bright
