After Satan had left them

The eleven remaining
after Satan had left them
sent into the darkness by Jesus
faithful to God’s plan

How we are to love
sacrificially, like Jesus
loving our neighbors completely
giving up our lives

Not that we should love
this was the ancient law
how we are to love
the covenant of blood.
