the road home

illuminated by his promise
light for the journey
guiding to the narrow path
the road home
in freedom
God showing the way
a light to guide our steps
lifting us up
when we grow tired, weary
there to show us hope
a promise of a future
there to raise us up
on wings such as eagles.
