Christ did not shun Judas

What does this say about God
about his Son, Jesus,
what does it say about love
that Christ did not shun Judas

Christ, fully human,
yet totally divine,
knew before he was born
that Judas would betray him

Speaking of this publicly,
before the upper room
yet not naming the betrayer
letting the steps unfold

Christ did not shun Judas
allowing him free will
though he had chosen him
given the right to kill
