Not to merely love one another
as we love ourselves
to put on the fabric, garment
to put on the love of God
To love as he loves
spoken on the night of his betrayal
letting the betrayer leave
Satan into the night
Christ saying something important
why this was a new commandment
to love not just as we would love
but to love as God loves us
