May we use authority wisely

When we are called to the breach
to stand up for Christ
when we see injustice
may we stand up for the right.
May we use authority wisely
may we speak out of lov
sharing God richly
walking with the Christ
Joining other Christians
those who claim his name
following the Spirit’s leading
never to fall again
