Maybe if we can put the pieces together
if we can face our sin
what Christ meant to love one another
our neighbors as ourselves
to love as he loved us
to let the betrayer go
knowing what was to come
loving God so
Loving us enough to let us kill him
atoning for all of our sin
becoming the lamb, submissive
climbing the cross for us
taking on our stain
the bile of our wickedness
drinking of that cup
loving us that much
