Those who hope in the Lord

The promise of strength, of presence
God’s promise of love
those who hope in the Lord
cleaving to his promise
to raise, to lift them up
of whatever age,
as even youth grow tired
hope in the Lord
the source of all that is
hope in the Lord
to soar on eagles’ wings.
