Christ knowing, Judas knew
aware of his treason
that he would betray
were the coins heavy
hanging from his waistband
did he know the chaos
he would release

Christ let him go,
words of acceptance
what you must do,
not weighed with judgment
resignation, affirming
go now quickly
let it be so.
