may we trust

May we trust
trusting in God
His great love
given up
that authority
that sacrifice
His promise of life
the Word, God

May we trust
bowing on our knees
falling, submitting
giving to God’s plan
the authority, the gifts
given to us
our hands to the work
each to do their part.
