A living canvas, the heavens
The azure sky, the blackness
space, the fabric,
held by the hand of God
stretched like a skin,
a drum face, living tissue,
like a tent stretched over the dome
over the firm foundations
the arc of the heavens
the wonder of creation
all of the world
placed in position, set in motion
by the word of the creator
created, formed
by the hand of the potter
