Even in exile, in that time
of trial,
that struggle far from our
comfort zone
far from home and safety,
we are to embrace all of
life
the hard and the happy
the pain and the peace
because we are God’s
children
and He loves us
and God will hold us up
and gather us in
if we are faithful
and believe
if we trust
in Him
