Precious Time with Jesus – v2

A lesson for each of us

for each one like Martha

so much to do

in our day to day

so many tasks

things to call our attention

so many things

to get in the way.

Each of us need to spend

precious time with Jesus

more important now

than it was on that day

no longer in the flesh

but speaking from within us

ever needing nourishment

from God’s Word.

We need to spend time at His feet

listening for His message

for each beating heart

gaining strength from our Savior

His Spirit within us

to stand in the storms,

the trials that come

rooted and grounded in our God.
