welcoming the newness of spring – v2

open windows after a winter
welcoming the newness of spring
cleaning of the winter doldrums
walking into that spring

the same for our souls
our spirits within us
needing to be made clean,
made whole, the dying within

welcoming the newness of spring
the morning of Easter
a breath of fresh air
